Ulster Bank will be exiting the SEPA scheme on the 30 August 2024. From this date, customers will be unable to send and/or receive SEPA Credit Transfers or Direct Debits via Ulster Bank.

It is important to note that any SEPA Credit Transfers that have been issued in recent months have been returned as Ulster Bank have closed the majority of customer accounts.

Please be aware, from 30 August 2024, Direct Debits cannot be collected via Ulster Bank accounts. The standard timeframes of up to 13 months for a Direct Debit refund still applies.
