PTSB has launched the public vote for its Community Funding Programme for 2025 with a commitment of €200,000 in funding to communities across Ireland. The Fund is a key part of PTSB’s Sustainability Strategy and commitment to enhancing the Bank’s social impact.
This follows on from the Bank recently donating a total of €360,000 to its six 2024 partners, representing a 20% uplift on 2023. The donation included €180,000 in matched funding by the Bank.
Following a PTSB colleague nominations process, fifteen charities from across the country have been shortlisted for consideration; five across Dublin and surrounding counties, five across the North & West of the country, and five from the South and East.

A public vote to select two PTSB Community partners from each of the three regions has now opened and the Bank is calling on members of the public to support their local charities by registering their vote through the PTSB App or though the PTSB website. Voting closes at 6pm Friday, 14 March 2025.
The programme supports local communities by donating funds raised by PTSB colleagues throughout the year. The money raised by PTSB’s colleagues is matched funded by the Bank for an overall donation to charity. Each year, the Bank aims to donate c. €200,000 to its charity partners and to date, has contributed more than 2 million Euro to Irish community organisations, supporting local communities across the country.
In recent weeks, having exceeded its 2023 fundraising target by €160,000, PTSB donated a total of €360,000 to its 2024 partners. Dublin and surrounding counties’ Alone and Our Lady’s Hospice, the North & West’s of the country’s Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund and Cancer Care West and the South & East’s Dillon Quirke Foundation and Blood Bike South, were selected as the Bank’s 2024 partners following more than 100,000 public votes last year. At a recent lunch event, PTSB’s Chief Sustainability & Corporate Affairs officer Leontia Fannin, presented representatives of each charity with a cheque for €60,000 following 2024 colleague fundraising activities.
“PTSB Community brings our people and communities together for social good. For us, it’s all about supporting local initiatives that make a real difference. This is fundamental to PTSB’s promise of being ‘Altogether more human’, and so we are committed to enhancing our social impact and connecting with local communities across the country.
“Each year, we look forward to working alongside our Community Partners to help them to scale their programming and strengthen their impact, and we are excited to see who comes through this year’s voting process.
“With voting now open, I encourage everyone to take a minute to vote through the PTSB website or mobile app to show your support for the organisation that means the most to you.”
