You can register your Debit Card for Apple Pay or Google Pay^tm offering you a safer way to pay, giving you the freedom to securely spend without a €50 limit, touch-free.

Cashback in-store with no fees

You can use your PTSB Debit Card to get Cashback at participating retailers. There’s no additional charge for availing of Cashback. You can only avail of this feature if you pay for something using your PIN.

Security for your shopping

Our PTSB Debit Cards contain many security features, giving you peace of mind when you’re shopping or making a payment.

• The CVV(2) number is a 3 digit number on the back of your card. You may be asked for this number when paying for goods and services online or over the phone.
• Visa Secure is an online security service that can be used when making purchases with participating online retailers and makes online shopping more secure.
• Our Contactless feature is just as secure as traditional Chip and PIN payments. Our Debit Cards use the same secure technology as any other Visa Chip and PIN card and include the latest security features set by the payment card industry. Occasionally you will have to enter your PIN as an additional security measure.

Accessibility notch: Newly branded physical cards feature an accessibility notch which enables customers to identify which way to insert or tap their card at POS terminals or ATMs.

Flat Personalisation: Printing card details instead of using embossing helps ensure information is clear to read and doesn’t fade over time.

All personalised content such as your card number, name, Open24 Number, CVV, and expiration date, are now on the back of the card.
