How to read your eStatements

eStatements are a secure and convenient way to receive your account statements through the PTSB App and by desktop through Open24 Online Banking, replacing the need for paper statements by post.

Your eStatement gives you a view of your account, including transactions, fees, and balances.

Here's how to navigate and understand your eStatements. 

 

Account information

  • Your account information is on the top of the your eStatement. 
  • It includes your:
    1. Account type
    2. Account number and,
    3. Statement period

Transaction summary and details

  • Shows the opening balance, total credits, total debits and closing balance. 
  • Shows an overview of your account activity during the period. 
  • Lists each transaction with the date, description, and amount. 
  • Debits (withdrawls) show as negatives, credits (deposits) will show as positives.

How do I view my eStatements?

In order to view your eStatements, you must first register your account. You can view your eStatements in the PTSB App or on your desktop using Open24 Online Banking. Find out how to register for eStatements.

What if I see an error in a transaction? 

If you see an error in a transaction, call 0818 50 24 24 or +353 1 212 4101 (from abroad) and our dedicated team will assist you. Lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). 

 

Can I print my eStatements? 

Yes, use your PDF viewer's printing options to print your eStatements. 

 

How long are eStatements available? 

eStatements are available to view for up to 2 years.
