Credit Card Repayment Difficulties

We understand that due to a number of reasons, falling behind on your repayments can happen. Our commitment is that we will work with you to try to find a way to help make your repayments a little more manageable. So if you are in arrears, or worried that you soon might be, talk to us before a small problem becomes a big one.

It is really important that you get in contact with us as early as possible if you’re concerned. This will give us both the best chance to work together on a solution.

You can call us directly on 1800 855 010 or +353 21 601 3800 (from abroad). Lines are open Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 6pm, excluding Bank Holidays.

You may wish to contact the Money Advice & Budgeting Service (MABS), a national, free, confidential and independent service for people in debt or in financial difficulty. Contact them on 0818 07 2000. Line are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm, or visit the MABS website.

 

What fees and charges could I face?

  • €7.50 if you exceed your credit limit.
  • €7.50 if your minimum payment is not received by your due date.
  • €10 Unpaid Payment charge if your payment is returned unpaid.

 

How to avoid these fees and charges

You will avoid these charges by keeping your repayments up to date. If you are having difficulties doing this, please call our dedicated Arrears Support team on 1800 855 010 or +353 21 601 3800. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8.45am to 6pm (excluding Bank Holidays). We want to help.

You can view your accounts via Open24 Online Banking, or via the PTSB App:

How to view my accounts in Open24 Online Banking:

  • Log in to the Open24 online banking website
  • You will then be asked to enter 3 digits of your Personal Access Number (PAN)
  • Then, select the account you wish to view.

How to view my accounts in the PTSB App:

  1. Log into the PTSB App by entering 3 digits of your Personal Access Number (PAN).
  2. Select the account you wish to view.

Alternatively, you can reach out to our social media team who are available Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm (excluding Bank Holidays), and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

Warning: Missed payment data will be reported to the Central Credit Register (CCR), as required by law, in the legitimate interests of PTSB and the CCR. This may affect your future ability to borrow.
