Savings and Deposit Accounts

We will need to get some documents from you if you’re applying for a Savings Account or a Deposit Account with PTSB.

By asking for proof of identity and address, we are following legal rules and regulation e.g., Criminal Justice Act (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) 2010 (as amended), designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

This regulation requires us to satisfy ourselves as to your identity and joint account holders before opening an account, permitting transactions on an account, or providing certain services.

This applies to new and existing PTSB customers.
