In line with PSD2, we provide access to our payment accounts for authorised Third Party Providers (TPPs). Each of the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) found in this portal has been developed and designed in line with the Open Banking Standards.
The new PTSB App to App channel allows our personal customers to authenticate via the Open24 app on their registered device for all transactions on AISP, PISP and CBPII journeys that require SCA.
This is an enhanced customer journey with less steps than the Web-redirect flow, whilst maintaining the same high levels of security. Non personal customers and customers without a registered device will continue on the web-redirect flow.
Note: TPPs that open the authorisation URL in a WebView may not trigger the app link.
The opening of the PTSB authorisation URL will launch the Open24 app via an app link. TPPs should consider first checking if the authorisation URL is registered with another (non-browser) app before deciding to launch the authorisation as an in-app WebView.
Further information on our App to App channel for our customers is available here.
